C.S. Lewis: Mere Christianity

To my surprise I found a series radio lectures by CS Lewis that have been bundled in his book Mere Christianity on You Tube. They make great listening so I recommend you listen to all episodes. This audio adaption is read aloud by Jeffrey Howard.

Mere Christianity is one of CS Lewis most influential books and has become a corner stone of modern Christian apologetics. These lectures were originally broadcast on the radio as a lecture during World War Two.  From that the transcripts were  later compiled to become ‘Mere Christianity’. A former Atheist himself, Lewis once said:

Had God designed the world, it would not be A world so frail and faulty as we see.

Mere Christianity deals with the basic beliefs upheld by all Christians, and on purpose, Lewis avoids singling out any one denomination, instead focusing on fundamental teachings of the Christian faith.

Mere Christianity

Lewis is a story teller and a gift in making theological and apologetic matters attractive, compelling and an exciting subject matter to delve into.

Should you however prefer to read the book, it can be ordered below by clicking on the icon book cover on the right.
